• Up to $32.50 an hr (depending on quals/exp). W/end rates apply.

This is all we need for you to bring (aside from your swimmers!). The Swim Factory Australia will help with the rest. You would be employed as a casual, and will be able to enjoy teaching hours that are flexible across both weekdays and weekends. The hours are perfect for fitting around your personal commitments such as study, family responsibilities, hobbies and even other jobs.

The satisfaction of teaching people to swim is a feeling that is shared by the whole team at The Swim Factory Australia. But it’s not all about ‘teaching swimming’; our goal is to build relationships and communities, and our instructors play a massive part with their enthusiasm, dedication and energy. Our instructors’ range in age from 16 to early 70’s, and each person brings their own strengths, motivation and passion to their role and the children they teach.

The role
The Swim Factory offers a variety of financial assistance* (*conditions apply) to assist with attaining all the relevant requirements

All Swim Instructors have to be qualified (see links to relevant websites), hold a valid Working with Children Blue Card and a Valid CPR qualification.

Following our lesson plans, and in small groups of 3-4 students, you will teach children with a wide variety of abilities to attain the skills to become strong, confident but most importantly, safe swimmers. Your peers are passionate instructors who are happy to share their knowledge and skills. Our Deck Supervisors are always on hand to provide guidance, tips and advice, as is our Swim Manager. Behind you all, are a committed administration and management team.
