Your New Role
As a Superannuation Adviser at Aware Super, your primary focus in the role is to provide compliant and high quality intrafund advice to our members.
We currently have 1 x permanent position and 1 x contract position (for 12 months) available. This role can be based in either Melbourne, Sydney, Wollongong or Perth locations.
Your responsibilities include;
- Producing and reviewing SOAs according to compliance standards;
- Maintaining your industry knowledge by completing the prescribe CPD points annually;
- Acting in the best interest of our members when providing advice;
- Completing intrafund advice appointments via phone and videoconferencing.
How do you exceed our expectations?
You genuinely care about financial well-being of members and want to provide them with quality financial advice and guidance to achieve better retirement outcomes. You will have demonstrated experience in a similar role within a superannuation fund (preferably) or in a financial planning environment.
In addition, you will have;
- A relevant tertiary degree to meet FASEA requirements;
- A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role providing superannuation advice;
- Sound industry knowledge and a thorough understanding of the legal and compliance framework within the financial services industry (specifically financial planning);
- The ability to have engaging and meaningful conversations with members; and
- An existing registration (ASIC) as a financial adviser.
