Great Opportunity to work closely with an experienced group of financial advisers!!!

This role is for a passionate paraplanner to support our leading telephone based intra-fund Advice Team and comprehensive financial advisers, within the Link Advice team.

As part of the Link Group Retirement and Super Solutions division, Link Advice prides itself on the quality of its advice, support and mature business model.

In partnership with some of Australia’s largest Superannuation Funds, and with a focus on providing quality intra-fund advice, this role will have the opportunity to help educate Australians on how to make the most of their superannuation savings.

Key Accountabilities and main responsibilities

Strategic Focus

  • Assisting the team of advisers with the creation of Statements of Advice, Records of Advice and Value propositions, ensuring compliance with industry regulations regarding financial advice
  • Develop strong technical ability and drive strategy & advice innovation
  • Maintenance of compliance standards for the business and keeping ahead of all legislative changes
  • Ensuring turnaround times and deadlines are appropriately managed
  • Complete projects identified for the overall team to enhance services within the team or wider business
  • Working closely with financial advisers to provide compliant Statements of Advice, ensuring that high levels of quality are maintained
  • Working closely with compliance and Advice Team Leaders to ensure that advisers are following Link Advice policies and procedures

Experience & Personal Attributes

  • A passion for financial advice and helping people
  • Minimum 1 – 3 years’ experience in a paraplanning role
  • Meets the minimum education requirements under FASEA
  • Passion for customer focus and best practice in all activities
  • Flexible whilst able to manage multiple competing business priorities
  • Must be clear thinking & well organised
  • Attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Strong technical knowledge across key disciplines of financial advice
  • Experience working with Xplan including XTOOLS+ and WealthSolver
  • Work in a structured work environment and adaptive to change
  • RG146 compliance with evidence of completed CPD,
  • Registered on the ASIC Financial Adviser Register
