Are you a Security Field Technician seeking a transition to an office-based role?

Global Zone is a premier IP Video Alarm and Access Control System integrator that services all of Australia.

As a result of recent team growth, we currently have an opening for a full time Operations Security Service Specialist to join the Operations team.

As the Operations Service Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting our installation and service maintenance delivery to our commercial clients in an efficient and effective way.

This role will report to the Operations – General Manager and Finance Manager.

What you will deliver:

– Provide support to installations and service field operations
– Coordinate and schedule installation and service jobs
– Liaison with clients and be the front face of our customer service team
– Oversee and liaison with technical support team and hardware gear ordering
– Driving the team to achieve the operational KPI target
– Provide support to Business Development Manager and Management as required
– Provide service quotations to clients
– Undertake general office duties and administrative tasks
– Assist in email & telephone inquiries
– Assist in any ad hoc requirements to support the team

To be successful you must:

– Technical oriented and understand basic IT networking, preferably have sound knowledge on how alarm and camera system works
– Demonstrated experience in installation coordination and scheduling
– Competent computer skills and experience in using with Microsoft Visio
– Highly organized and ability to coordinate work, including the ability to establish priorities to meet deadlines and commitments in a calm & positive manner
– Enthusiasm and willingness to learn with a “can do” attitude
– High attention to details
– Enjoy working in a team environment
– Be highly motivated and results driven person with outstanding communication skills
– Proactive and with high levels of initiative
– Possess Security Registration License: Installer and Adviser (Ideally)
