Electrical apprenticeships – we are recruiting!

Electrical Group Training (EGT) is seeking applications from mature-age women and mature-age indigenous people for a pilot program supported by the Construction Training Fund (CTF) for electrical apprenticeships, there are 16 places available.

CTF is supporting EGT in a pilot program to engage more mature-age women and mature-age indigenous people into apprenticeships in the electrical trade for the construction industry. CTF’s support will directly benefit the host employers involved in the program, by further reducing the costs of employing mature-age apprentices

Ideal candidates must

  • Be a mature-aged women or a mature-aged indigenous person
  • Be located in Perth Metropolitan Region or looking to move to WA
  • Have a positive attitude to work and training
  • Have proficient mathematical skills
  • Enjoy hands-on work and problem solving
  • Have good communication and team skills
  • Be fit and able to undertake manual tasks

Desirable

  • Completed Cert II Electrotechnology or Cert II Data & Voice Communication
  • Drivers Licence
