We are an accounting practice in need of a bookkeeper. While the bookkeeping work will be performed on Xero, current experience would be valued but not necessary as training will be provided. Ideally, the candidate will have had a broad exposure to all aspects of bookkeeping; accounts receivable, accounts payable, bank reconciliations and office filing.
While Xero will be the main software used in supporting our small business clients, a good understanding of excel and emails is a requirement.
Our office, while currently based in Brunswick, is moving in a few weeks to our new office in Preston, near the Preston Market.
The position is initially part-time but can grow to full time in the future.
Salary is negotiable based on experience.
