This established small Bookkeeping business that offers bookkeeping and consulting services to small and medium sized businesses and works with clients from varying industries,
Seeks a committed Bookkeeper/Accounts Clerk to join their busy business located in a home office in Berwick Victoria.
This is a very friendly small office, and wants someone who would fit into the team.

THE POSITION
This position is perfect for the self-motivated bookkeeper or someone who has worked in the industry and wants to learn more. This is a casual 20 hours per week to start with.

Typically, your duties will entail:
Full function accounts payable
Full function accounts receivable
Payroll
Bank reconciliations
Credit Control
Assisting with month end
Adhoc duties

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
This bookkeeping business offers a personalized service to each client and therefore seeks a candidate with these very same qualities. This position requires a switched-on individual who is able to pick things up quickly.

The ideal candidate must possess the following;

Previous working experience in a similar role under Australian rules and regulations
Exposure to Xero preferred
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Computer literate and able to pick up new software easily
Punctual with attention to detail
Strong multi-tasking capability
A committed team player with excellent interpersonal and team skills

Experience:
• Bookkeeping: 1 year (Preferred)
• Xero and MYOB: 1 year (Preferred)

Licence/Certification:
• Australian driver’s licence (Preferred)
• Certificate 5 in bookkeeping (a bonus)
