Job Description
Contractor Installer for security doors.
Must have own van or wagon. Must have own tools and know how to use them. Job involves collecting doors from our warehouse in Hawthorn, driving to clients home and installing security doors. Aluminium product so reasonably light. Triple locks, door closers, striker plates, sometimes have to check hinges in, bug strip/s etc. Ideally you will have some experience but if not you must have some general carpentry or handy man skills to do this job properly.
You supply your own screws, rivets and you should have a drop saw for cutting mitred corners on door jamb adaptors (not common). Portable drill and associated bits etc are essential.
We pay per door but pay for extras such as adding timber door stops, removing existing doors, adding tracks for sliding doors etc.
Jobs are primarily in inner suburbs but can and do cover most suburbs of Melbourne – so you must be prepared to travel as part of the role. Immediate start for the right person.
