Job Description

Store Manager
MU Convenience store is located at Monash University in Clayton,Victoria.
It’s a convenience store owned independently.
The owner is 55 years young and wishes to share Management duties with a similar minded person.
The business operates at higher intensity during semesters that run march to june and august to October.
We close for a Easter and also Christmas for two weeks.
It’s a five day a week business and this position is to manage for two days a week.
The business has been affected by COViD but we are on the way back.
Hours of operation are 830am till 6pm.
Managers hours are 630am till 4pm two days a week.
The role will assist manage young staff,mentor and generally give some direction to operations whilst on site.
The role includes manage staff, ordering stock,stocking shelves,pricing, serving customers.
The role prepares the shop for trade for the day and ensures the convenience store runs smoothly.
It’s a vibrant,enjoyable place to work with good customers and staff.
Will suit someone wanting to step back from full time work but still wanting to stay active and earn some money.
I have stated it’s two days a week but if anyone wants more hours I am all ears!
The role gives enough flexibility of hours with existing owner so that holidays etc can be fitted in.
