We are looking for a highly motivated permanent part-time reception member to join our team.
The Melanoma Centre is a dedicated skin cancer clinic open 6 days a week with a team of doctors and reception staff who are dedicated and passionate about patient care.
The successful candidates will be responsible for:
> Managing telephone and patient enquires, scheduling appointments for patients within the practice and with other specialists, billings, messages and other general administrative duties;
> Maintaining patient files, handling mail, email, faxes and scanning;
> Scheduling appointments between patients and doctors;
> Ensuring the medical centre is tidy and presentable; and
> Communicating with a diverse range of health professionals
> From time to time you may be asked to set up the procedure room for any upcoming procedures.
To be considered for this role applicants must have the following:
> Professional & personable telephone manner;
> Proficient computer skills
> Demonstrated initiative, time-management & flexibility;
> Strong written & verbal communication skills; and
> High standard of presentation and attention to detail.
> Ability to multi-task in a busy environment.
Knowledge of medical software (Best Practice) and understanding of industry terminology will be given preference.
