Job Description

This Grocery department Manager’s role is at a locally and privately owned & operated IGA store with the prospect of becoming the Assistant Store Manager and potentially Store Manager. In this role you will be responsible for daily ordering of stock, some filling of shelves, stock turn, category management, managing staff, profit KPI’s including wages, GP and shrinkage. Duty Managers shifts form part of this role’s responsibilities which include some nights/weekend locking up. Successful candidate will work alongside the owner who has 35 years experience in the industry, having held various operational and senior executive roles.
Suitable candidates need to have proven track record and supermarket experience at perishable/grocery department manager’s level as a minimum.
Salary will be determined based on previous experience within the band specified.
