Job Description

The role

In this Full Time role, working in the Albany location, you will engage people with disability, families, local governments, community groups, mainstream agencies, and businesses to develop sustainable solutions to access and inclusion barriers including employment and all types of community involvement and recreation.

You will be responsible for:

Working with diverse groups to assist them to access, prepare and benefit from the NDIS
Improving community, non NDIS participants and stakeholders’ knowledge of the NDIS
Meeting identified contractual KPIs

To be successful in this role…

Knowledge of the local community and the available options for social & economic participation for people with disability, will see you build and nurture relationships within the community.

You will have:

Demonstrated relevant experience and or lived experience
The experience to coach, counsel, and connect people to identify and achieve the positive outcomes they desire.
The ability to display empathy and compassion, to understand the diverse needs of the individuals within the community
Demonstrated computer skills including capability with Microsoft Office 365
Access to your own transport
A current Working with Children Check
