Allied Dental started in 2014 and is quite a young practice compared to most. The idea behind the practice was to create a practice where the best dentists using the best equipment and the best materials would provide treatment that they felt most comfortable undertaking with support from specialists and dentists to grow their skills and confidence.
Fast forward to today and our newest and dare we say, one of Perth most stunning practices has just celebrated its first anniversary. A practice located conveniently within the Ocean Keys Shopping Centre that utilises the latest in technology such as Trios to provide same day crowns along with 3D printing that are far more bespoke than Cerec.
This practice has 4 dentists working out of 2 surgeries with a team of amazing assistants and our front desk along with our Practice Manager providing support to them. We are proud to say that we have an excellent culture where everyone gets along well (especially over drinks and good food!).
Vision for the role
We would like to grow further and we believe this is best achieved via the support from an assistant practice manager who is able to work hand in hand with our practice manager to identify opportunities to implement ideas in a sustainable and consistent basis engaging with the team to ensure full alignment.
This part time role will ideally provide support to the front desk when they are busy and also maintain their assistant skills by rotating through different clinicians to ensure consistency and efficiency within the team. One shift a week would be assisting.
This role would cover at a minimum working 3 days – Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturdays.
We offer a performance bonus that is tied to the practice performance, team performance and your performance.
You would be mature minded but age is not a factor, experienced with assisting and have fastidious infection control standards. You would be organised, love liaising with people and understand the need to set expectations and deliver consequences for non performance.
You would be savvy in understanding how best to liaise with patients and to motivate and set the pace for the team whilst ensuring our service offering is the better than the best out there. Comfortable in helping walk a patient through a treatment plan and also confident in discussing payment options whilst empathetic to their circumstances.
Yes we are looking for a unicorn.. but we know you are out there! and with a group that continues to expand, opportunities to grow are plenty!
