Job Description

The Reinforcements Nanny Agency are helping a family in Bentleigh find a great Nanny to help care for their children 2 – 3 afternoons per week.

Children: Boy 7 years old, Girl 5 years old and Girl 19 months old

‘We love spending time together as a Family. We like to go to the park, play basketball, football and like going out for the occasional family meal be it breakfast lunch or dinner. Also love socialising with our friends and broader families.
Our son is a very kind-hearted and sweet boy. He loves his sport, Minecraft and is a fantastic and gentle big brother to his two sisters. Our oldest daughter is lots of fun, she is loving, energetic and loves music, dance, and all things creative. Our youngest daughter is a sweetheart who is turning into a lovely toddler. She loves spending time with her big brother and sister and likes to do lots of different games and activities in the house and at the park. She is a very happy, smiley, and calm toddler. She can be initially clingy and wary of new people thanks to the Covid lockdowns.
Our older children are at school in grade 2 and prep at a local primary school and our youngest daughter is at day-care four days per week and one day with her mum. School and day-care is only a 5-to-10-minute walk from home and all in the same direction.’

About the role:
Tuesdays and Thursdays 3pm to 6pm
Start date:12th of July, 2022 – on-going – long term
Location: Daley St, Bentleigh, 3204

Duties: Childcare duties, school pick up, day-care pick up, preparing meals for children, helping children with homework, general tidying, laundry, assisting children with their routine.

Car required: Licence required, own car a plus but not essential.

Notes:
‘Above all we want someone with a genuine love of children and one that our kids will connect with and feel comfortable with. Our last amazing Nanny had lots of energy and the kids adored her as she was fun and playful but at the same time set clear boundaries. We’re very proud of our kids. They are playful but respectful of carers/parents/grandparents/teachers etc. We follow fairly strict rules with dinner/bath/readers/homework during the week so ideally would love someone who likes to follow routine but loves spending time with kids and connecting with them.’
