Supported Housing Development Group is a private operator of group homes for young adults living with severe acquired brain injuries from motor vehicle and other accidents.
We require additional care staff to provide personal care, cooking, cleaning and assistance with travel and recreational activities (swimming, sailing etc).
You must be willing to assist with intimate tasks including showering, dressing, grooming, management of bowel and bladder function and feeding.
You need to have a caring and enthusiastic nature, be able to speak, read and write in English and be a team player able to work in a dynamic environment with other staff and providers. A first aid certificate (or willingness to obtain), drivers licence (to drive our cars and vans) and police check is required. Other training will be provided.
We have a variety of shifts available in our group home in Bella Vista and units in North Strathfield but you must be available for some overnight care. Casual award wages of $30.58 per hour plus shift and weekend loadings.
